Doggo Brutus Character References and Art

Important:

Brutus is a shapeshifter and their "true form" is just a nebulous ball of demon energy. This "yadda-yadda" demon magic power is intended to give any artists I work with extreme latitude to shape the design in their personal style or to fit the content. 

If I'm reaching out to you it's because I enjoy your art and want to support you being your awesome self. I want to let you show off your unique flair though my character because the best art is the art that you as a creator love too. I'm open to changing nearly ANYTHING: accessories, magic, lore, personality, or even species if you think it may be better.

Please let me know if you have an idea or just want to experiment! 

I understand that such ideas or changes can effect cost but I'm happy to pay for something we both love and are proud of.

Design Elements:

• Hellhound character based on both Beauceron and Doberman dog breeds. Visually, this combination is seen as a broader or more muscular Doberman, with a bit more fur fluff visible in some areas such as the face, neck or elbows

• Non-binary/gender flexible and responds to any pronouns, but is generally male presenting as a "default"

• Dark gray (or black) body fur with bright green (or neon green) accents

• Green eyes with black sclera

• Short head-fur (small poof or mohawk)

• Two green curving horns (can be small nub horns or larger)

• Visible upper canine teeth

• Short nub or docked tail & cropped or pointed ears

• Heart-shaped butt marking

• Preferred additions that are not core to the character: 

  • Leather or chain collar

  • Piercings (see piercing reference)

  • Long tongue with typically some tongue visible (such as bleps, slurps, and lolling tongue expressions)

Extras:

• Punk/edgy clothing (leather, latex, mesh, fishnet, ripped jeans, spikes, chains)

• Occult/demonic imagery such as pentagrams, chaos star, magic, symbols, glowing eyes, hypnosis etc.

• Mad scientist vibes occasionally such as goggles, medical themes, lab coats, various crafting/engineering etc.

Lore and Personality:

• Brutus is the devil's lapdog and although they are not really evil, they are certainly a mischievous tempter. They can be derpy and downright silly at times so although your soul might be a tasty treat, they could get belly rubs as their payment too.

• Brutus comes from the second circle of hell and is considered a form of desire demon, reshaping themselves in some way to the preferences of those that summon them or to suit the environment.

• Part-time villain inventing objects combining occult magic with science and technology (think Needful Things or Artificer)
